This week, I figured we could take a look at the cast of the movie that almost always gets compared to its struggle-in-the-ghetto-themed counterpart, Menace II Society. Through slow-motion and impressive camera manoeuvering they're making great, exhilarating action. These men don't put value on a human life, not even their own. Instead of using hand held cams and grainy film the Hughes' shoot their film with style, influenced by John Woo, and action-comics. It proves effectively that a gritty street-drama doesn't have to look bad in order to be realistic. Today he is 46, and has starred in 21 movies in total, 18 since Menace II Society was released. There are many reasons to it, but I think what makes it so special is it's sense of style. Larenz Tate was 16 in Menace II Society when he played the character Kevin O-Dog.
